APPLYING FOR A HOME
Gloucestershire Homeseeker is our county's choice based lettings system for letting social housing. It is designed to offer more choice and participation for applicants in selecting a new social rented home. Gloucestershire Homeseeker is a much more open, transparent and customer-based approach to letting properties. It replaces the traditional way of allocating housing, known as a points system, where housing officers seek to match applicants who have priority on the waiting list to available vacancies. Gloucestershire Homeseeker gives the applicant the control whereby they bid on a property they would like to live in. For further information please contact housing advice at the Forest Of Dean District Council on 01594 812308 or our Customer Services Team on 0800 316 0897. |
The Home Point Agency manages Herefordshire's Housing Waiting List and advertises available affordable homes on behalf of Herefordshire Council and the county's leading Housing Associations. Please click on the below to view their website.
If you are homeless or at risk of losing your home, you should contact the council straight away for help or advice or both.

Gloucestershire Homeseeker is a partnership formed between all six local Councils in Gloucestershire and many of the Housing Associations and social landlords (who are known as Registered Providers).
