OUR AWARDS

We've recently been awarded the QHS Governance Certification, the first Housing Association to achieve this recognition. The QHS process itself involved a detailed submission paper and was broken down to seven key areas which included looking at the structure of the Board, strategic planning, decision making and policy. Our Governance Coordinator, Anthea Tawney now joins the QHS Peer Review Panel to assist in reviewing other applications for this Quality Housing Services Certification.

This project has been shortlisted in the Best Practice in the Community category.

Our Ledbury Cottage Hospital development has been awarded, best social housing development of the year at the recent LABC West of England.

Opened to the public in 1891 at a time when a rich mix of Medieval, Tudor and Regency architectural styles was apparent in and around the Ledbury area, the original architects for Ledbury Cottage Hospital were able to borrow from a high standard of architectural design tools. The recent redevelopment completed in 2009 set out to fulfill a local need for 21st century accommodation, giving a contemporary standard of home and office life while at the same time conserving, restoring and protecting the original fittings and styles evident throughout the building.

The development was also put forward for shortlisting in the National LABC awards, however we were not successful in securing the national award.
