Two Rivers Housing appoints new fleet contract provider
Following a competitive tender process, we have awarded our new fleet contract to Days Rental.
The contract was awarded after a detailed assessment of operational, legal, and performance requirements, in line with the Procurement Act 2023.
As part of the final selection process, a group of our colleagues visited Days Rental’s site in Newport to carry out final checks and confirm their ability to meet our requirements.
Work is already underway to ensure a smooth transition from our current supplier ALD, and we will be working closely with them to minimise disruption to our repairs service.
We worked closely with the team to make sure that the vans meet their needs and have included features that will help them work more efficiently while out in our communities. This includes the ability to charge power tools while working on site and additional internal and Data Roaming Sims, that will help the team connect to our office systems more reliably.
The appointment of Days Rental as our new fleet provider supports our commitment to improving our repairs service and delivering value for money across the business. The new contract will start in May 2026.
