Phil
Phil originally trained as an apprentice Carpenter and has worked as a sub-contractor in the private and commercial construction sectors for 42 years. He has a good understanding of how trades work and even worked as a contractor for Merlin Housing Association in Bristol.
Through his career he has been involved in helping ensure that homes met the Decent Homes Standard, fire safety upgrades, refurbishing empty homes and responsive repairs. This makes him the perfect person to review and assess our repairs service!
He has lived in one of our homes for four years and is keen to support people living in the community, which is why he wanted to join our Tenant’s Voice Group.
