Two Rivers Housing receives top ratings from Regulator
Two Rivers Housing has received the highest possible grades from the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) following an inspection in April.
The Regulator carries out detailed inspections of social housing landlords around every four years. As part of the inspection, it speaks to tenants, Board members and senior leaders to understand how the organisation is being run and how services are being delivered.
The Regulator has confirmed that we have kept our top ratings for governance and financial viability. These are known as G1 and V1. It also gave us the highest rating, C1, against the new Consumer Standards.
The Consumer Standards were introduced in April 2024 following the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023. They are designed to make sure social landlords listen to tenants, keep homes safe and well maintained, and continue to improve the services they provide.
Our G1, V1 and C1 ratings show that the Regulator sees Two Rivers Housing as well run, financially strong and focused on working with tenants to make services better.
We know there is more to do
We’re proud of these ratings, but we know they are not the end of the journey. There are still areas where we need to improve, and we’ll keep listening to tenants and acting on what they tell us.
Kevin Bennett, who took over from Hayley Selway as Chief Executive in June, thanked Hayley and the team for their hard work. He said:
“These ratings show that we are doing the right things and moving in the right direction. They give us a strong platform to build on what has been achieved under Hayley’s leadership.”
Kevin also made this promise to tenants:
“We’ll keep working hard to improve our services, invest in homes and work with tenants to make things better. We will never forget our purpose: to make sure everyone has a warm, safe, affordable home.”
