I have worked in social housing for four years after making a career change from working in admin. In my admin roles I found that I was a good listener, offered helpful advice to my colleagues and enjoyed the feeling of helping and I wanted to use these skills more.
I started working in social housing to help people find a safe and comfortable home and listen to tenants and offer support and guidance where I can. I care about my tenants and feel privileged to be able to offer support when sometimes people are at their lowest. Before joining Two Rivers Housing I was a Neighbourhood Coach for Bromford.
Outside of work I love anything to do with the outdoors including camping, hiking, visiting National Trust grounds and the occasional cold-water swim. Usually walks will end with tea and cake! And if it’s raining, you’ll probably find me reading.
