Honeythorn Close, Hempsted
This site was previously a large agricultural field. As Gloucester has expanded the area of Hempsted has gradually been absorbed and this piece of land now sits just on the edge of the city, close to the city centre and the historic docks. Honeythorn Close is a development of 44 homes. We took 17 of them under a Section 106 agreement as affordable homes from local developer Newland Homes. Within this, two are social rent, 12 are affordable rent and three are Shared Ownership. The homes were completed in 2019.
