Valley Road, Cinderford
Development at Valley Road formed an important part of the wider Cinderford Regeneration Project and saw a new use for the site of a former abattoir.
The project was carried out in partnership with Forest of Dean District Council and the Homes and Communities Agency. A total of 92 homes have been built on the site – 37 of which are owned by Two Rivers.
Our properties are a mix of one bedroom flats, two, three and four bedroom homes which are both for affordable rent and Shared Ownership tenures.
They are all built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4. This means we have exceeded current best practice, and these highly energy-efficient homes are helping to reduce our tenants’ fuel bills.
Kier Partnership Homes Ltd was the main contractor. The homes were built over three phases and we received our final units in January 2015.
