Pest Control in your home
Under the terms of your tenancy agreement, removing pests such as mice, rats, and ants from your home is your responsibility.
As your landlord, we will attend the property to fill in or make good any areas where pests are entering the property to prevent them from getting in. However, we will not set traps, bate, or remove pests from inside a tenant’s home. You are responsible for removing pests from inside your home.
Some local councils can provide pest control at a discounted rate. You will find information on the services that they can provide on their website.

Shared and communal areas
Where pests have gotten into a communal or shared area within a building, we will attend the property to fill in any areas that the pests are getting in through. We will also instruct our pest control contractor to lay traps and remove pests from the property.
We will not set traps, bate, or remove pests from inside an individual tenant’s home.
